The TELCO L03 is designed for field engineers, technicians, and riggers working in the telecommunications industry who are involved in DC electrical installations. It is also a route for individuals transitioning into the telecoms sector from an electrical background.

The course combines:

• EAL accredited online study course — full Level 3 DC Electrical Installations content, self-paced on any device
• 2-day centre-based assessment — practical and theory assessments at our EAL approved London or Manchester centre

Once you have completed the online study content, contact us to book your 2-day centre assessment. Assessments are available at our London and Manchester centres. Select your preferred location when booking or call us on 0800 061 4400.

The 2-day centre assessment covers both practical and theory components of the Level 3 DC Electrical Installations qualification. It is conducted at our EAL approved centre and covers installation methods, inspection, testing, and maintenance of DC telecoms power systems in a practical setting.

Yes — if you already hold a BS 7671 18th Edition qualification, our TELCO L04 Fast Track (£395) condenses the full programme into a single day, specifically designed for qualified electricians to gain the same Level 3 EAL award more efficiently.

On successful completion you receive the EAL Level 3 Award in DC Electrical Installations within the Telecommunications Industry (603/7601/6) — nationally recognised and fully accredited for the telecoms and electrical industries.
